I get asked a lot about what kind of vegan products Canada has to offer and which ones do I use all the time.
One of the hardest parts about finding vegan products in Canada these days is that it is difficult to find one place that has all your favourites.
This is especially true for Canada since a lot of the best products are only available in the United States or UK. Surprisingly though there are a lot of really good products available on Amazon.ca and I thought I would make a list of all my favourite ones.
We left vegan protein powder off this list because we made a whole post about the best choices.

Best Products on Amazon
Amazon is super easy, fast, and usually has the best prices so I will start off by listing my favourite favourite vegan products available there first.
Noble Jerky
Noble Vegan Jerky Original Flavour is a standout in the vegan snack world, combining smoky flavours with a satisfying chewy texture that closely mimics traditional beef jerky.
Originally a meat-based company, Noble Jerky made a complete switch to plant-based products to embrace sustainable agriculture, which has led to a significant increase in their revenue and popularity.
Each serving is packed with 14 grams of non-GMO soy protein, making it a great source of plant-based protein. Noble Jerky is also free from artificial preservatives, trans fats, and nitrates, ensuring a healthy and guilt-free snacking experience.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Reese’s Plant-Based Peanut Butter Cups bring a vegan twist to a classic favourite. Made with oat and rice flour, these stay true to the iconic peanut butter filling but are enveloped in a creamy, oat-based chocolate that delivers a rich and satisfying taste.
These cups have a slightly different texture compared to the original, with a firmer chocolate and a less sweet overall profile, which I think is a good thing.
Launched in 2023, they mark Hershey’s commitment to offering more vegan options.
Only down side right now for us in Canada is that we have to order a case of 12 since they aren’t sold individually.
Soy Curls – Vegan Products Canada
Soy curls are a key vegan product in Canada because they are a plant-based protein and they are made from non-GMO soybeans grown and harvested in the United States.
These pack 10g of protein in 3/4 cup and they have a chewy texture and a slightly nutty flavor, making them a great substitute for meat in a variety of dishes I use them as a chicken substitute.
They are also an excellent choice for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint, as soybeans are a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option compared to animal protein sources. If you are worried about eating too much soy please read this post.
Vegan Protein Bars
Genuine Health Fermented Vegan Proteins+ Bars are a delicious and convenient way to get your protein fix on the go. Made with fermented vegan protein, it is easy to digest and gentle on the digestive system.
These bars are also packed with nutrients, including prebiotics, probiotics, and enzymes, to support gut health and overall wellness.
* We made a whole post about vegan protein bars here if you are looking for other options.
Vegan Chocolate Bark
Prana Organic No Mylk’N Chocolaty Bark Hazelnut is a delicious vegan snack made with 40% cocoa and organic hazelnuts, this chocolaty bark is sure to satisfy your cravings while providing a boost of nutrients and antioxidants.
Made with 40% fair trade cacao and features roasted hazelnuts and crispy brown rice for added crunch. It’s free from dairy, gluten, and GMOs, making it a guilt-free indulgence for anyone looking for a wholesome snack.
Dried Mango – Vegan Products Canada
I am addicted to this stuff! Elan Organic Mango is a delicious and healthy choice.
These organically grown mangoes are packed with nutrients and are grown without the use of harmful pesticides or chemicals.
They have a sweet and juicy flavour plus, by choosing organic, you can feel good about supporting sustainable farming practices.
Vegan Kraft Dinner
Kraft has introduced its first-ever plant-based mac and cheese, known as Kraft NotMac&Cheese, which is now available in Canada and the United States.
This vegan alternative, developed in collaboration with the food tech company NotCo, features two flavours: Original and White Cheddar Style. It uses a combination of fava bean protein and coconut oil powder to replicate the creamy texture and rich taste of the classic Kraft mac and cheese, but without any dairy.
The vegan version retains the familiar look of the original, with the cheese powder turning orange when mixed, although the sauce is slightly more liquid and sweet than the traditional version.
Additionally, this product is free from artificial dyes and is easy to prepare, just like the traditional Kraft Dinner
Vegan Omega 3 Oil
Sports Research Vegan Omega-3 offers a high-quality, plant-based alternative to traditional fish oil supplements. Each serving contains 630 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, with 210 mg of EPA and 420 mg of DHA derived from sustainably sourced algae oil.
The softgels are made using PlantGel™ capsules, which are carrageenan-free and verified by the Non-GMO Project, ensuring a high standard of purity and quality. Unlike fish-based omega-3 supplements, this product has no fishy aftertaste and is environmentally friendly, contributing zero impact on marine ecosystems.
By leveraging advanced technology and sustainable practices, Sports Research provides an ethical and effective way to include essential omega-3 fatty acids in your diet, supporting overall wellness without compromising on your values.
Silk Soy Milk
SILK Organic Unsweetened Soy Milk is a product that I use daily. I use it in smoothies, my coffee, oatmeal and homeade frozen ice cream.
I always get the unsweetened one because why add extra sugar when you don’t even tell the difference? This makes it a lower-calorie option and it’s also a good source of protein, with 8 grams per serving.
Plus, it is free from artificial colours, flavours, and preservatives.
Nutritional Yeast
Another vegan essential, Bob’s Red Mill Nutritional Yeast, can be added to just about anything. It gives a nice depth of flavour to my vegan dishes, and I also love that it’s packed with nutrients like B vitamins and protein.
The flakes are large and easy to sprinkle on top of salads, pasta, and more. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to add a boost of flavour and nutrition to their meals.
Vegan Hazelnut Spread
Nutiva’s Organic Vegan Hazelnut Spread has a rich hazelnut flavour that is not too overpowering and is made with only a few simple ingredients including hazelnuts, cocoa, and coconut sugar.
It is also organic, making it a great option for those looking for a healthier alternative to traditional nutella spreads.
Specifically for the USA
GTFO It’s Vegan is an online platform dedicated to offering a wide range of vegan products, from food items to personal care. Catering to both the committed vegan and those exploring plant-based lifestyles, the site sources and curates high-quality, cruelty-free products.
With an emphasis on making vegan shopping easy and accessible, GTFO It’s Vegan aims to challenge the misconception that vegan options are limited or lack flavour. Unfortunately they don’t ship to Canada but I will keep my fellow Canadians updated.
